Mark Watkins, President and founder since 1981. Mark's father Tommy Watkins had done well in the dry cleaning business, setting a high standard of service and professionalism. Mark felt that he could do the same on his own. Mark's Quality Cleaners' first store was in Roebuck in 1981 and in 1988 our Inverness store opened.

Mark Watkins is a past President of the Southeastern Fabricare Associations' board of directors which is an affiliate of the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute. He currently sits on the board for DLI and SEFA. Mark was also a past director on the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Trust Fund Board. Mark's Quality Cleaners has been voted as one of Birmingham's Best by the readers of the Birmingham News.

Mark's first son Josh was born and raised in Birmingham. While attending UAB, he learned the dry cleaning business from the ground up. He started out driving the delivery truck and managing pick-up and delivery accounts. After graduating from the UAB School of Business in 2005, Josh decided that he wanted to join the family drycleaning business and continue what generations of Watkins have taken pride in doing. Josh oversees daily operations and strives to keep up the excellent business practices that his father has instilled in him.
